Neuromuscular therapy RELIEVES MUSCULAR STRESS AND PAIN, RESTORES MOBILITY AND PEACE OF MIND!.
The Center for Neuromuscular health provides a gentle, gradual entry form of Neuromuscular deep tissue therapy performed by female therapists. This particular type of Neruomuscular massage therapy works best for female therapists due to the empathetic nature of women, as well as extensive knowledge of human physiology. Our clients, male, and female, experience a much more relaxing experience reducing stress while the Neuromuscular acupressure and micro-stretching techniques do their job to heal many muscular conditions.
Neuromuscular therapy relieves: back pain, shoulder pain, hip and groin pain, arm and leg pain, wrist pain including carpal tunnel syndrome, depression and anxiety associated with long term physical pain, and improves sleep patterns by helping the body to relax. Another key benefit: improved range of motion in arms, legs, hips, neck, and back.
100% effective with, or without removal of clothing.
Neuromuscular health is a must have, not a nice to have. Pain caused by strained or damaged muscle, nerves, and tissue dramatically reduces quality of life. Left untreated, these same injuries begin to cause peripheral damage to other healthy muscles and nerves through the compensation process where your body begins to isolate damaged tissue to relieve pain. Don't let this happen to you!
Many medications prescribed to treat disorders associated with muscle and tissue damage only mask the pain and contribute very little to the healing process.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome:
This syndrome very often appears as a result of repeated use of the hand and/or arms in an isolated position (i.e., mouse use, typing, etc.). Another likely cause is that there are issues with the cervical spine (neck) causing impingement of the nerves which originate in the neck and proceed down the arm and to the hand. Deep tissue therapy on the neck, shoulders, arms, as well as the hand, provide tremendous relief for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Exercises and stretching techniques are also recommended to hasten the healing process.

Neck Injuries:
Injuries, incorrect posture and daily habits can all be causes of neck problems. Often, the problem has been around for a while before the pain ever started. A series of deep tissue strokes, acupressure, and stretching, incorporated with range of motion testing, will relieve the pain and start the healing process. These techniques are much more effective long-term than drugs. Treat the cause, not the symptom!

Lower Back Injury:
The Quadratus Lumborum is a very typical culprit for pain in the lower back region. Myofacial release and deep tissue therapy is recommended. Stretches and exercises are also suggested and demonstrated to lengthen and improve strength in this muscle. Massage has proven results through research done at The Touch Institute in Miami, Florida.

Shoulder Pain:
Shoulder pain comes from many different causes. Some are injuries, some bad posture, and some are work related. Still others are simply incorrect sleeping positions. Usually, one to two treatments can begin relieving the pain. The upper trap release pressure point needs to be addressed, as well as therapy to the middle trap and muscles attaching to the scapula.
|
|
Upper Back:
Microstretching the T-paraspinal muscles can provide great relief for upper back pain. Deep tissue therapy and stretching for the muscles attaching to the scapula will also provide relief to this area.
|
|
Strained Arm Muscles:
Similar to hand pain, strained arm muscles are typically associated with issues in the cervical spine (neck) causing impingement of the nerves which originate in the neck and proceed down the arm. Deep tissue therapy on the neck, shoulders, and arms is the usual treatment for this condition.

Sciatica:
The sciatic nerve is often impinged by the Piriformis muscle in the hip area. There are several acupressure points in this area. Relief is obtained through therapy resulting in an increase in joint mobility. This is very deep and intense therapy; however, recovery is usually much quicker than with other methods. In addition, this therapy often helps with lower back pain associated with this problem area. Usually, therapy to the Iliopsoas muscle will also provide relief for hip pain.
